Meet Kelsey
Before she was landing clients on Fox News and in the Daily Mail, Kelsey Merritt-Roa was hauling amps and playing Warped Tour for six summers straight. She opened for the Jonas Brothers. She made Alternative Press's "100 Bands You Need To Know." She studied at Berklee College of Music and learned — sometimes painfully — that talent alone doesn't get you noticed.
That's why she started Woo Girl PR. She's been the person hoping someone would help get the word out. Now she's the one doing it.
Based in Nashville, Woo Girl PR built its reputation on book publicity, with a track record of securing national media placements that actually move the needle. Her team has landed clients on Fox News, Newsmax, Daily Mail, The Daily Wire, LA Times, and across hundreds of radio shows, podcasts, and print outlets nationwide. Now she's expanding that approach beyond books — working with brands, thought leaders, and public figures who need more than a press release and a prayer.
She built this company from a laundry room office with a toddler in the next room. She still treats every campaign like her name is on the line — because it is.
When she's not pitching, she's chasing her daughter Luna, keeping up with her professional drummer husband, performing at Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Sundays, and running on a caffeine level that would concern medical professionals.
